Support for all children’s ministry practitioners worldwide

This website provides an ideal way of communicating and promoting your project both internally and externally.

All types of practitioners working in the field of children’s ministry can apply for a project website. Regardless of where you have received funding, each project will be assessed on meeting the criteria for inclusion on the project area of the website.

You can have up to 5 pages plus a photo gallery to showcase what you did, how you did it and to encourage others to follow your lead.

Your website content can be up dated and new information added by way of a Content Management System which you can access to make your changes with technical support available if you need it.

By creating a universal website suitable for all children ministry projects, the website provides continuous learning for new and experienced practitioners alike, where ideas can be shared and problems solved.

The website also provides a record of your project which you can use as a reference and ideal way of showing what your project achieved when you apply for future grant funding for your next project.

All you need to do is direct people to your website with its own domain name, for example: http://www.ourchildrenschildren.org.uk/Yourprojectname

Will my project be suitable?

If you have an idea for a project, you may be able to obtain funding from a variety of sources.

The organisation behind Our Children's Children, Westhill Endowment (www.westhillendowment.org) provides grants for projects that are aimed at bringing religious institutions, the local community and children together.

You will find on the website projects with strong underlying spiritual values that have the potential to transform children's lives, involve local communities and include people from all faiths, backgrounds and cultures.

Funding organisations can be found here – How to apply

These are the type of projects we are looking for:

  • Ministry to children
  • Children already connected to ministry
  • Children not yet connected to ministry
  • Religious institutions and local communities working with children
Projects can involve children from all backgrounds and faiths, including those not currently connected to a religious institution.

The project can also involve the local community through schools, children's activity groups and local support groups.
